Our Values

Maximizing community wellbeing
  1. we fund youth groups and young leaders whose activities improve lives the most with every dollar.
Capacity Building

We partner with key organizations in Africa that help us offer entrepreneurship and leadership training to all our successful applicants before we fund them. Through this, we enhance efficiency and effectiveness hence improving impact.

Transparency

We share extensively with all our partners and the general public about our work, approach and views, the sources that inform us and what would change our minds. We want to enable others to evaluate our conclusions.

Emphasizing considerateness
  1. We make an intentional effort to do our work in a way that is respectful of people inside and outside our organization. We consider the needs, interests and perspectives of others.

We are aiming to catalyze change in three ways.

Shifting humanitarian financing from a reactive to a proactive model.

Creating a more balanced system that shifts power and decision making to those closest to the frontline – the youth.

Partnering with various organizations in Africa to immediately conduct skill-based training to successful applicants before funding is done.
